Older Adult Services
We believe that all of our clients are entitled to be listened to, so we can establish a relationship whereby clients feel that they are treated with respect and dignity, through open and honest communication. Encouraging clients to make flexible choices around their healthcare requirements.
“I would highly recommend this service to anyone requiring care, not only post-operative but even if you just want company during walks or need a little more help with everyday life.”

Personal Care Services
The daily routine of getting up, showering and getting dressed and ready for the day can be exhausting. Having a carer to arrive at a set time, and help with these tasks, and medication compliance, along with some meal prep for the day and returning at night to settle a client back into bed, does make the day seem more manageable.
Rehabilitation
We are able to help with post-operative rehabilitation. We can collect the client from the hospital, ensure medication is dispensed, and settle the client into their own home, ensuring they are safe and warm. We can ensure that they are supported in their day-to-day rehabilitative requirements for personal care or physiotherapy rehabilitative care, until the client is back on their feet.
You may find that your health insurance policy covers a certain number of hours of Registered Nurse Care.
Respite Care
We can make ourselves available at any time to give the ‘main carer’ a break. We can either do a few hours a day or we can arrange a ‘sleepover’ at your home. This can give the ‘main career ‘ a good night’s sleep and peace of mind. Mobile Home Care, can attend to the needs of the client overnight.
We can provide 24hr rostered support if and when required.
Dementia Care
Staying at home can be increasingly difficult for family and friends when caring for someone with dementia. Ensuring that the client has a safety net in place at all times can be difficult to manage. Mobile Home Care believes that by putting support services in place can reduce the stress on the family. Clients with dementia are safest and less stressed in their own home environment.
Palliative Care
We will work in conjunction with the Hospice and Palliative Nursing team and would be guided by them when it comes to caring for a loved one at a very difficult time. We can visit throughout the day and organise overnight stays to give relatives a break.
Medication Assistance
It can be quite overwhelming ensuring that all medication is taken at appropriate intervals. We can visit to ensure that the correct medication is taken in a timely manner.
Companionship and Outings
Knowing someone is going to make regular visits to your home gives one a sense of purpose and something to look forward to in their day. It can entail a walk outside around the house, a cup of tea and a game of cards, or it can mean a drive in the car to a favourite memory spot and a coffee. When family and friends are either living a long way away or are time pressured this service can meet many needs.
Transport To Appointments
Do you need help getting to hospital, doctor, dentist, physiotherapy, or hairdresser appointments?
We can pick you up and transport you to any appointments you require. We can go into the appointments with you if required to support you and ensure you understand what is being explained. This can also be a comfort for relatives who are not able to be at these appointments.
Shopping
We can pick you up and take you shopping or do a grocery shop for you. It is sometimes difficult managing lots of heavy bags and then unpacking them when you get home. We can help with this.
House Cleaning
We can organise to come and clean your house as a ‘one off’ or on a regular basis. Keeping those chores up to date is not always easy. We can keep your house clean by dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing beds, washing the linen, and any ironing that is required.
We pride ourselves on ensuring that your home is spotless on completion.
